Qualifications for
Admission |
| |
|
An applicant must be
qualified on all of the following requirements to be accepted into
the MS (IEC) program: |

- Graduated with
a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. |
| |
|
- Pass the AU
entrance examination into the M.S. Program. |
| |
|
- Two acceptable
letters of recommendation from former instructors or employers. |
| |
|

The Selection Procedures |

Entrance examinations are required. |
| |

The Graduate Study
System |
| |
|
- Semester System: Each
academic year consists of two 16-week semesters plus one 16-week summer. |
| |
|
- Time Limit:
This curriculum is a semester system. Each student must fulfill
all requirements for the degree within
5 years from the date of first enrollment. |

A: Thesis Option Under
this plan a student must complete a master’s thesis for a total
of a 12-credit hours. |

lieu of the thesis, a student may take three additional courses
for a total of 9 credit hours plus a 3-credit project and
pass the comprehensive examinations. |
