  The Grading System
   
     Grading is based on examinations, tests, reports, and/ or presentations. Letter Grades are used to show the academic standing of all students with the following meanings and values

    -   A student attaining a grade of D or F in any course must re-take that course.
    -   For courses without credit the grade of S (Satisfactory) or U (Unsatisfactory) may be given without weight.
    -   If and when undergraduate courses are required as remedial courses, the grade of C or better is equivalent to S.
     
  Auditing a Class
   
-   With the approval of the Advisor, a student may audit a course. He/she has to pay the required fees for that course,     attend at least 80% of the classes and get a grade of "aud" with no weight
   
-   The Maximum number of credit hours allowed in any semester includes the audited classes but the minimum credit     hours a student it is required to take to maintain his/her status does not include the audited classes.
    -   Credit hours from audited classes are not counted in the accumulated credit earned.
     
  Transfer of Credits
         A student may be accepted as a transfer student, from other accredited Master's programs provided that he/she has earned a grade of B or better. The total number of transferred credits cannot exceed 12.
     
  Thesis Registration
   
-   A student may register for Thesis provided that he/she has enrolled as a graduate student for at least 2 semesters,     earned at least 18 credit hours, and maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
   
-   Each student must have a Thesis advisor to be appointed by the Graduate School of Internet and E- Commerce. A     Thesis Proposal Screening Committee consisting of the Advisor and two additional members must scrutinize the     thesis proposal. After the Committee has approved the proposal, co-advisors may also be appointed. With the     recommendation from the Advisor, the Graduate School must appoint a thesis examination committee with at least 3     members including the Advisor and at least one full-time member of the graduate program.
    -   The grade to be given for the thesis examination may be either S or U.
   
-   In any semester that the student registers for the thesis if he cannot complete the thesis, the grade of "I" must be     recorded in the transcript.
     
  Comprehensive Examinations
   
-  A student who has completed 24 credit hours including all required courses and has a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0     has the right to register for the comprehensive examination.
   
-  There are four papers in the comprehensive examination.
   
-  A student who fails any of the four papers has to register only for those papers he or she fails in the subsequent     comprehensive examinations.
     
  Thesis Examination
    -  This is an oral examination to test a student’s knowledge and thorough understanding of his or her research work.
   
-  The student submits his or her thesis and abstract approved by the advisor to each member of the Examination     Board at least two weeks before the actual examination date.
   
-  The student shall distribute three copies of his or her complete thesis together with three copies each of the     abstracts attached to the thesis (in Thai and in English) to the University within three weeks after the oral     examination.
   
 

 Graduation Requirements

    To be qualified for graduation, the student must
        -  Complete at least 36 credit hours approved for the MS(IEC).
        -  Earn at least 3.0 GPA.
        -  Pass the thesis examination or the comprehensive examination.
        -  Have operated an E-Commerce shop.
